MacDowell was captured in September 2019 after a broad audit and re-examination did by criminal investigators.

In 1986, 2004 and 2018, the remaining parts of Renee and Andrew have never been found. The most recent case was planned to find the killer and the last resting spot of the pair’s bodies, which had been absent for just about 46 years.
