Scott Haraguchi, a Hawaii fisherman, become attacked through a shark near the Kualoa shore in Honolulu, Hawaii, on May 12. He lives to inform the story.
On May 12, Haraguchi turned into out fishing. He caught a fish however forgot to turn off his GoPro, which managed to record what happened subsequent. Minutes later, a tiger shark attacked Haraguchi’s kayak, leaving him screaming in fear.
“I heard a whooshing sound that appeared like a boat heading in the direction of me without the motor and I regarded up and I noticed this big brown component. My brain notion it become a turtle, but then I got slammed by it, and realized that it was a tiger shark,” Haraguchi informed ABC7.
He controlled to collect courage and kick the shark faraway from his kayak.

Haraguchi got lower back domestic and found out that his GoPro had recorded the horrifying assault. He shared the video on YouTube.
In the caption, he wrote, “[It] befell so fast. [I] didn’t realise I took my left foot out of the water to brace myself from impact and in reality driven the shark’s head off with it.”
If you asked me to try this once more, even without the shark, I don’t suppose I’d have that flexibility (sic),” he brought.
Speaking to KITV4, the fortunate-to-be-alive angler said he believes the shark might also have unsuitable his kayak for a seal.
“I’m questioning that the shark disabled and wounded the seal…and become waiting for it to die, got here lower back and concept I become the seal, and attacked me alternatively,” he advised the opening.
